Written by Mike Exner III, the series adapts the game’s rich world of parasouls, dark mysteries, and compelling characters into new stories that both longtime fans and newcomers can enjoy. The Skullgirls webtoon launched in November 2022 and concluded in February 2024, representing Mike’s first ongoing series at a major publisher and his first work-for-hire comics project. The series spans 26 episodes across one season, bringing the Skullgirls universe to readers with new adventures from the game’s beloved cast.
