Cara Stemo is an illustrator and comic artist based in Michigan. She studied illustration at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, with a minor in animation.

Cara has co-created several comics, including:
- How to Summon the Lord Hastur - A trilogy featured in the anthology Cthulhu Is Hard to Spell (2018)
- Rebel - A comic based off Bei Dao poem (2018)
- Time Beans - A 6-page comic (2015)
- How to Open the Gates of Hell (2024) - A story in We Suck at Comics: Volume 1
