John Taloni

Sci-Fi & Fantasy writer

John Taloni has been reading Science Fiction and Fantasy since he was eight years old, when he stumbled across a copy of Alexei Panshin’s “Rite of Passage.” His major influences include Anne McCaffrey and Larry Niven.

John is a long-time attendee at SF conventions, where he met his wife while dressed as a Pernese dragon rider. Their daughter asked at age four if they could watch more of the show with “the robots that say ‘exterminate’“—and the entire family has happily watched Doctor Who together ever since.

John has been previously published in several publications:

  • Career Zombie - Corporate Cthulhu anthology
  • Ollie’s Redemption: Half Way Home anthology
  • Dark Rind of the Moon - Amazing Stories

“Time For Murder” is his contribution to We Suck at Comics: Volume 2. It’s about a man stuck in a time loop. Each day he dies and each day he wakes up knowing he died. His killers are a different person every time. Some talk of the atrocities he will commit if left to live. Until one day the killer misses…and it is time for revenge.

Their work includes We Suck at Comics: Volume 2 - Coloring Outside The Lines.
