Paula Sevenbergen is a writer who has worked in both television and comics. She wrote for the Warner Bros. television series Stargirl for three seasons as a story editor, and is currently developing a TV project set in her home state of Iowa.
In comics, she has written for DC Comics—including Wonder Woman Black & Gold, Sensational Wonder Woman Special, Future State: The Next Batman, and Catwoman—as well as IDW and Mad Magazine. Her work has also appeared in essays published by The Washington Post and BUST Magazine.
Her creator-owned work includes Flow for Mad Cave Studios, a feminist horror miniseries illustrated by Claudia Balboni. The series deals with themes of shame, vengeance, and the lingering scars of girlhood—described as “like Carrie meets Yellowjackets.”
