Roy Huteson-Stewart

Freelance artist and writer with eclectic styles

artistwriter artoccult

Roy Huteson-Stewart is a freelance artist and writer with an eclectic mix of styles that rarely ever overshadows his storytelling abilities. He has been freelancing for over 10 years.

His proudest achievement was hosting and curating a gallery show featuring original art from his graphic novel Aleister Crowley: Wandering the Waste at the world-famous Atlantis Bookshop, London’s oldest occult bookshop.

In ‘Paint by Numbers’ from We Suck at Comics Volume 2, Roy explores themes of unconventionality and breaking free of established norms and boundaries. The four-page story critiques the lack of “artistry” in the mainstream art world, encouraging critical thinking, individuality, and embracing diversity by encouraging the reader to think beyond the conventional and explore new possibilities.

Their work includes We Suck at Comics: Volume 2 - Coloring Outside The Lines.
