Tom Lynott

Tom Lynott is a comic letterer and scripter based out of Arizona who discovered his passion for lettering through Andy Schmidt’s Comics Experience course in May 2021. Under the guidance of professional letterer Sean Rinehart, he developed the skills that would launch his career in indie comics.

Since then, Tom has lettered multiple one and two-page stories created by writers and artists through The Comic Jam, a collaborative platform where independent creators work together on weekly themed projects. His work has appeared in anthologies published by Dren Productions, Fugitive Poems, Panelsmith Comics, Foreign Press Comics, Luke Henderson, and Warden Comics.

In August 2022, Tom began writing his own one and two-page scripts, expanding his creative output beyond lettering. These stories showcase his versatility in both writing and dialogue creation. His collaboration with Claudio Ghirardi on “Stardust the Wizard” for We Suck at Comics Volume 2 demonstrates his ability to bring scripts to life through quality lettering.

Tom had a story included in Oneshi Press’s Sidequests anthology, published in 2025, further cementing his place in the indie comics community.
