Tony Gregori is an American comic artist and writer whose career has taken him from the pages of major licensed properties to deeply personal creator-owned projects. Born in 1976 and raised in South Florida, he studied 2D animation and illustration at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale before settling in Missoula, Montana, where he continues to create prolifically.
His professional credits include drawing Rick and Morty for Oni Press, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for IDW, and contributing to Dark Horse’s The Worst Dudes with writer Aubrey Sitterson. But it’s his creator-owned work that reveals his true artistic vision: Porkchop Robot Killer—a love letter to his grandfather, an Italian immigrant steelworker nicknamed “Porkchop,” reimagined as a lone pig smashing AI-driven robots in a dystopian wasteland. He’s also co-created Karma Police and Deuce of Hearts, and collaborated with writer David Crispino on the Taft Sturgeon series. Beyond comics, Gregori has illustrated RPG manuals, storyboards for advertising and short films, and co-directed a literacy program at the University of Montana that used comics art to help children with learning differences. His art combines exuberant cartoon energy with visceral action, making him equally suited for all-ages humor and adult-oriented mayhem. He contributed art to All We Ever Wanted: Stories of a Better World, the Ringo Award–nominated sci-fi anthology from A Wave Blue World.
