Centurion is the story of Corbin Colt, the strongest person in the world. After the tragic death of his parents in an accidental house fire, Corbin vows to use his powers to help every person he can.

This prologue explores the thrilling origin of what led him to dawn the cape and become a hero.

The Story

Corbin Colt is born with incredible strength - he is literally the strongest person in the world. But his powers couldn’t save his parents from a tragic house fire that claimed their lives.

Haunted by his failure to protect them, Corbin makes a vow: he will use his incredible strength to help every person he can. This origin story follows his journey from grieving son to the hero known as Centurion.

The series is described as “a comic about dueling personalities,” suggesting internal conflict and the struggle to balance his personal grief with his heroic mission.

Backroom Comics

Centurion is one of Backroom Comics’ first two series, launched alongside Specter. The team successfully funded a Kickstarter campaign in early 2021, raising $2,290 from 47 backers (115% of their $2,000 goal).
