Ever is seventeen, half-angel and half-human — and she’s the key to opening the pit of darkness. Ever: The Way Out was released by Abstract Studio in November 2020 as a complete 72-page graphic novel — no monthly installments, just one dense, self-contained read. Moore announced it that summer (SmashPages, Bleeding Cool) as a story that came out of the dark, strange year of 2020, and he built it as a single compact tale rather than the beginning of an ongoing series.
