What if the monster in your story was the hero in theirs? Napoleon’s Starship asks this question through a haunting tale of love across the stars.
The Story
A young human girl travels into outer space and falls for an alien - but when she reaches out, he rejects her. To him, she’s the monstrous invader.
It’s a brilliant exploration of Otherness, perspective, and how we see those who are different from ourselves. This theme runs through much of Katherine Blakeney’s work.
