Evie Pierce is a dedicated labor and delivery nurse living an ordinary life—that is, until she finds herself ripped from her world and dropped into a cosmic nightmare. She awakens alongside two strangers: a young, snarky superhero named Orbit, and Marco, a hardened rebel military commander from a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
As if being pulled across dimensions isn’t confusing enough, a mysterious figure begins hunting all three women down. With reality itself collapsing around them, Evie, Marco, and Orbit must put aside their differences and work together to survive. They quickly realize they’re not just random victims—they were assembled for a specific purpose. Their survival might be the key to saving all existence.
Written, illustrated, and colored by Phillip Sevy, Triage is a five-issue miniseries that explores identity, purpose, and what it means to be a hero when everything is on the line. The series was called “the sleeper hit of 2019” and showcases Sevy’s unique visual style that blends hard sci-fi technology with psychedelic, surrealist imagery.
The collected trade paperback was released in June 2020, compiling all five issues into a 168-page volume. The series was published through Dark Horse Comics as one of their creator-owned titles, allowing Sevy full creative control over the story.
Perfect for fans of multiverse stories, female-led adventures, and high-concept sci-fi that explores identity through extraordinary circumstances.
