Chris Giarrusso is a native of Upstate New York who grew up in an artistic family with a love for comics. He is best known for creating the all-ages G-Man series, which follows a young superhero who gains powers when wearing a magic cape. The series has been published by Image Comics and Andrews McMeel Publishing.

His Mini Marvels work at Marvel Comics, featuring child-sized versions of popular Marvel characters, was a long-running feature in the publisher’s Bullpen Bulletins and eventually led to multiple digest collections. This work demonstrates his talent for creating appealing, accessible superhero art.

For The Disasters, Chris contributed variant cover art that brings his distinctive style to this comedy about D-list villains. His ability to create appealing, energetic superhero imagery makes his covers perfect for a book that both celebrates and pokes fun at superhero conventions.

Recent work includes Officer Clawsome for HarperCollins, illustrated alongside writer Brian ‘Smitty’ Smith.
