Micah Myers is a three-time Ringo Award-nominated comic book letterer whose meticulous, hand-crafted word balloons have become a signature element in some of the industry’s most beloved titles. After leaving college, he made the bold decision to pursue his passion for lettering—and that gamble paid off spectacularly. Today, he’s widely recognized as one of the premier letterers in comics, with nominations in 2021, 2023, and 2024 for the Best Lettering category at the Ringo Awards.

Based in Portsmouth, Virginia, Micah brings over a decade of lettering expertise to every project. His clean, expressive style seamlessly integrates with artists’ work while ensuring dialogue and narration enhance rather than distract from the visual storytelling. He’s worked with an impressive range of publishers including DC Comics, Image, Dark Horse, IDW, Mad Cave, Webtoon, and many more, collaborating with creators like Rachel Pollack, Kayla Miller, Steve Orlando, and Cullen Bunn.
