Claire Connelly is an illustrator and comic creator known for her distinctive off-beat style and engaging mini comics. She graduated from Montclair State University with a B.F.A in Animation/Illustration, where she completed her first graphic novel Here: A Sci-Fi Epic.
Her creator-owned work includes the mini series Black Eyes, Down with the Ship: A Collection of Comics, The Long Year, Bird Song, and she is currently working on her sixth graphic novel Captain Lost.
Beyond her own creations, Claire has illustrated several short stories for mini comics and anthologies, as well as covers and pin-ups for various comics. She is perhaps best known in indie comics circles for her collaboration with Erica Schultz on Strange Tails, a wildly creative anthology that was nominated for a 2020 Ringo Award for Best Anthology. She also worked with Eric Grissom on the series Animals.
