Will Murray
Pulp writer & Doc Savage editor
Will Murray (also known as William Patrick Murray) is a writer and editor of Doc Savage and has been involved with The Man of Bronze even before his 1985 adaptation of the 1934 Doc Savage epic The Thousand-Headed Man.
He has had a successful career as a pulp novelist, ghostwriting about 40 entries in the bestselling Destroyer action-adventure series. He has also worked on Squirrel Girl comics.
Will writes a regular column in RetroFan magazine.
His work in We Suck at Comics: Volume 2 is “The Wastes of Chit-NuBrang!”—a retro 1930s pulp sci-fi yarn told with a 1950s EC Comics sensibility, reminiscent of the 1960s Underground Comix. The story was created with artist Cesar Madarro.
