I Am Hexed

I Am Hexed is a supernatural political thriller that reimagines American history with witches at the center of political power. Witches have been part of the political fabric of Washington D.C. since it was founded—but it’s only since the 1960s that they’ve stood together and fought to take back the word “Hexed.” A movement was ignited when witches came out of the shadows and proudly showed off their broomsticks.

The series follows Charlie, Jaya, and Florence—three queer witches who find themselves on the run from malevolent forces both inside and outside the government. What starts as a routine political assignment for junior staffer Charlie Helm spirals into a dangerous conspiracy that threatens the entire witching community.

As they race to unravel the mystery, the trio must harness their powers to defend themselves against enemies who will stop at nothing to maintain the status quo. Along the way, they encounter an accidentally carnivorous plant, casino-level excitement, and the personal drama that comes with fighting for survival while trying to save their people.

Volume 1 collects all four issues of the acclaimed Kickstarter-funded miniseries. Originally launched as a four-issue series, each issue exceeded its funding goals—Issue #1 raised $23K (vs. $10K goal), Issue #2 raised $14.3K, and Issue #3 raised over $16K. The collected volume was published by Rocketship Entertainment in December 2023.
