Taylor Esposito

Award-winning letterer, Ghost Glyph Studios, 2022 Ringo & Tripwire Award winner

📍 Boonton, NJ

Taylor Esposito is the letterer you don’t notice—and that’s exactly the point. As owner of Ghost Glyph Studios, his craft is invisible by design, guiding readers seamlessly through the stories they love without ever calling attention to itself.

With over 1,300 issues lettered and counting, Taylor’s career reads like a who’s who of the comic industry. He cut his teeth as a staff letterer at DC Comics before spending time as a production artist at Marvel, then struck out on his own to found Ghost Glyph Studios—a top-tier lettering and design service that serves publishers large and small.

In 2022, the industry took notice. That year, Taylor swept both the Ringo Award and Tripwire Award for Best Letterer, cementing his status as one of the preeminent voices in comic book lettering.

When he’s not meeting deadlines for publishers like Dark Horse, Image Comics, AfterShock, Vault Comics, and Dynamite, Taylor can be found at the legendary Kubert School in Dover, NJ, where he teaches lettering and digital production. He’s passionate about nurturing the next generation of comic creators and helping them understand the craft that brings words to life on the page.

Based in Boonton, NJ, Taylor continues to build Ghost Glyph Studios’ reputation for working scary quick without sacrificing quality—because at the end of the day, creators have deadlines to meet, and their projects need to look good.

Their work includes I Am Hexed, and Signed C: The Missing.
