Adrian Wassel is Editor-in-Chief at Vault Comics, the science fiction and fantasy publisher he co-founded with his brother Damian Wassel. Based in Missoula, Montana, Vault Comics has established itself as a premier destination for creator-owned sci-fi and fantasy comics.
As an editor, Adrian has shaped numerous critically acclaimed titles including These Savage Shores, Barbaric, Dying Inside, The Autumnal, The Blue Flame, Giga, Heathen, Lilith, Money Shot, and T.H.U.S.H.. His editing work has earned multiple nominations for Publishers of the Year by The Beat.
He has also made his mark as a writer, authoring The Gifted which won Foreword Reviews’ 2014 Best Graphic Novel of the Year. Currently, he is co-writing Big Rig with recording artist Post Malone.
Before entering comics, Adrian studied English Language and Literature, Creative Writing at the University of Montana, graduating in 2013. When not working in comics, he enjoys climbing mountains with skis.
