Skylar Patridge brought their artistic talents to Resonant for the series’ second arc, taking over illustration duties from Alejandro Aragon. A longtime fan of Vault Comics, Patridge was excited to join the creative team, stating in interviews that contributing to “such an incredible book feels like lightning striking twice.”
Previously known for their work on Relics of Youth, Patridge’s style proved perfect for continuing the visual journey of Resonant. Their artwork maintained the series’ signature blend of post-apocalyptic visuals and emotional storytelling while bringing their own unique perspective to the world of the Waves. Working with writer David Andry and colorist Jason Wordie, Patridge helped elevate the series to new heights as it expanded its story into deeper territory.
The transition from Aragon to Patridge was seamless, with the new artist immediately establishing themselves as a perfect fit for the series’ tone. Their work on Resonant cemented Patridge’s reputation as one of the rising talents in horror comics, capable of handling both the action-heavy sequences and the more intimate character moments that define the series.
