Alejandro Aragon brought the terrifying world of Resonant to life through his dynamic artwork. Partnering with writer David Andry on Vault Comics’ post-apocalyptic horror series, Aragon’s visual storytelling captured the essence of a world where humanity’s darkest impulses have become literal manifestations of chaos.
His fluid art style proved perfect for the series’ blend of action and psychological horror. Each page conveys the desperate survival situation faced by Paxton and his children, while also capturing the more subtle moments of fear and emotional turmoil. Working with colorist Jason Wordie, Aragon created a world that feels both desolate and oppressively alive with danger.
The series was later taken over by Skylar Patridge for subsequent arcs, but Aragon’s contribution established the visual language of Resonant—a haunting, visceral depiction of a world gone wrong.
