Selina Espiritu — better known to her fans as siriusdraws — is one of the most beloved artists in the Critical Role fandom, and for good reason. Her expressive character work and cinematic storytelling caught Dark Horse’s attention, and she became the anchor artist of the entire Mighty Nein Origins line, drawing three of the eight volumes: Caleb Widogast, Fjord Stone, and Caduceus Clay.

Her Caleb Widogast is a masterclass in visual storytelling. Reviewers singled out how her panel layouts mirror Caleb’s emotional state — open and breathable in moments of peace, claustrophobic and razor-edged as his trauma closes in. It’s the kind of deliberate, empathetic craft that turns a comic adaptation into art.

Beyond Exandria, Espiritu has contributed to Quincredible and lent her cover art to the Vox Machina Origins line. She’s based in the Philippines, where she balances comics with work as an emergency medical technician — a detail that adds a whole new layer of respect to a creator who draws tragedy so convincingly. You can follow her sketches and process work on Tumblr. If you love gorgeous fantasy interiors, emotional sequential storytelling, or the Critical Role universe, Selina Espiritu’s pages are essential reading.
