Tim Daniel operates at the intersection of visual design and comics storytelling, serving as the Visual Branding & Design lead for Vault Comics, one of the most dynamic independent publishers working in horror, fantasy, and science fiction today. Based out of Vault’s Missoula, Montana headquarters, Daniel’s design sensibility helps define how readers experience some of indie comics’ most talked-about titles.

Daniel’s most celebrated contribution came as part of the creative team behind These Savage Shores, the critically acclaimed series by Ram V and Sumit Kumar that reimagined colonial-era India through the lens of supernatural horror. The team—including colorist Vittorio Astone and letterer Aditya Bidikar—took home the 2020 Ignyte Award for Best Comics Team, a recognition of their groundbreaking work that blended historical fiction with visceral storytelling.

Beyond his branding and design work, Daniel has stepped into cover art, including the Dungeon Crawler Carl FCBD Web Exclusive Variant Cover created alongside Vault’s art director Nathan Gooden. His design eye extends across Vault’s entire catalogue, shaping the visual identity of titles that push the boundaries of genre comics.
